Wrecks around the Grande

Monday August 15th Lafayette, Voiture 364, brought in 8 new voyageurs. Ritual team was Mike Worrel as Acting Chef, Jim "Meathead" Helmick as Chef de Train, Grand Chef Rich Richardson Performed the Obligation Tom Russell as Conducteur, Tip Jordan as Aumonier, Bob Christopher introduced guest and Harry Christopher performed the Unknown.


Voiture 276, Fish Lake, held an active wreck August 16th. Acting Chef, Terry Sims, performed the wreck which brought in 12 new members. Ritual team consisted of Jim "Meathead" Helmick as Chef de Train, Mike Worrell performed the Unknown, and Tom Russell as Conducteur with Grand Chef Rich Richison performing the obligation' Randy Page; Grand Garde de la Porte was the introducer of guests with Charles Martin Performing the Aumonier


Wednesday August 17th Lake Station, Voiture 470, brought in 3 new Voyageurs with a formal Wreck. Acting Chef Mark Lippie was assisted by Chef de Train Jim "Meathead" Helmick, and Larry Macy performed the Conducteur duties. The obligation was given by Indiana's Grand Chef Rich Richardson. Immediately after the Wreck Mark Lippie installed Voiture 470s newly elected officers with Larry Macy acting as Conducteur


V-483 performed a Formal “Wreck” with 5 PG’S on Saturday October 29, 2011. The Ritual team consisted of Grand Chef de Gare Rich Richardson who gave the Obligation. Monroe Kessler, Tom Russell, Rich Spurgeon, Tom Frederick, Crystal Nix, Bob Hock and Bill Cooley rounded out the Ritual Team.

New Voyageurs are John Day, Linda Carlson, Les Gothrup, Max Warner, and Enos Schieber. Dinner followed the “Wreck” with Tom Frederick donating the meat and other Voyageur’s bringing a dish.

Jana White and Brian Lamb from V-642 brought 3 PG’S to be “Wrecked.”


V-510 Anderson held a Formal Wreck on Saturday December 3, 2011. Four PG’S were Wrecked. The Ritual Team consisted of the following: Obligation-Rich Richardson Chef de Train- Jim “Meathead” Helmick Aumonier- Tom Russell Tomb- Mike Worrell Introducer- Gilbert Cox Wrecking Chef- Terry Sims
