 Jim “Meathead” Helmick had a quad triple heart bypass Thursday January 6, 2012 and is recovering in the hospital in Champaign, Illinois. He is doing fine and more details will be coming later. On Thursday the5th i had pain in my left arm, the same happened the 31st i thought it was indigestion .on the 5th i decided to go to va danville,il they said i had 2 strong and multiple small ones. they, va, sent me to Carl clinic in Champaign Il.9:30 they opened me up and replaced four lines going to my heart, yes they found one. I'm home now ,got in around 7pm. thanks for all your thoughts, dr.s said to talk about it for my memory . call or come by just let me put the dog up first. love and missed you all while I was out in never never land ,I'm think full but i don't want to go back Jim [meathead] Roger Watson Grand Correspondant passe has developed a tumor on his vocal chords. I talked to him on Monday October 3rd and he has gone through one chemo and 4 radiation treatments at this time. The treatments are to last until the middle of November. Roger is very up beat and the Doctors claim that they can cure all of the cancer. I’m sure that he would appreciate cards from you. Please keep Roger in your prayers. |
